Lord know's I'm trying to get home,
but I keep stumbling as I go.
Just can't seem to get it together,
why is it,can't get with the flow.
The more I try to please you,
the harder It seems I fall.
I keep saying to myself, for pity,
you know I"m human after all.
I go to Church when it's possible,
give my tideings all year long.
Forgive all that sinned against me.
Lord where have I gone wrong.
Knowing the answer to my question,
believing is all I have to do.
But this doesn't seem to be enough,
after all that was done to you.
Just help to keep me on track I ask,
so I end up in Heaven with you.
I'll be working hard to do whats right,
and soon I'll be seeing you.
