"A small boy ask about Jesus"
A small boy looking at his Bible,
given him on Christmas day.
So many thing inside to look at,
Couldn't put this book away.
The more he looked, the more he saw,
questions building in his head.
Yes you could see them grinding.
finally this is what he said.
Mom why does Jesus wear a dress.
instead of pants like me and Dad.
They had no sewing machine like me,
was the first answer that his mom had.
Later he came running in eyes big and bright,
So I ask my: what's the matter.
Mom,Dad Jesus was one cool guy,
he could even walk on water.
Just a short time later he was back,
he said Men are not supposed to cry.
Ask him wouldn't you be crying to,
knowing you was going to die.
This went on till close to 8:oclock.
then there was not even a peep.
There he lay with Bible in his arms.
snuggled up and sound asleep.
So teach your child about Jesus,
and help them to understand.
Just because he wore what he did,
Jesus was still a great man.
