Teaching God's Word
Today I heard a Pastor praying,
Lord: what am I suppose to do.
Your word I try teaching to them,
it doesn't seem to get through.
Each week, the congregation hears me,
it seems I can not reach their heart.
What good can I do for you Lord,
I wanted so much to do my part.
Thought a pastor was my calling,
trying to save them all from sin.
Lord: but nothing ever works for me,
not one soul that I can win.
Son: you've sent many souls to me,
Oh! yes, you have done your part.
Not one of them would brag to you,
yet you truly touched their heart.
Young man go back to your pulpit,
Just do the best, That you can.
And when you also reach Heaven,
you'll find you saved many a man.
My Son no matter how hard you try,
no way can you save then all.
Remember this is a world of sin,
so many in the flock will fall.
