He
Was

Military Truck rolled into Town,
out jumped a group of men.
Said" things bad so stay inside,
came to guard your Bethlehem.
Soldier: ask what's the bright light,
just outside your beautiful town.
Oh! That's the place Jesus was born,
and the Angels gathered around.
This night men walk through Town,
out looking for this special place.
Then all fell down, each bent to Pray,
Oh! So much sadness on their face.
All rifles lay there upon the ground,
not one soul ready to fire a shot.
Only grown men, with trust in Jesus,
whom they heard so much about.
Off you could hear the Angel's sing,
Peace on Earth good will to men.
Next morning nothing found out there,
nothing seen or heard since then.
Not one soul died upon that night,
Celebrating what they had seen.
Each praying his promise to be soon,
that he would return to them again.
All praying, Lord take us to our home,
To spend your day, with our family.
For this thing they fight for over here,
with out love for man will never be.
