Needin' New Dishes

Wife said dear we need new dishes,
as we have some of every kind.
But Dear these have many memories,
I really feel that these are fine.

But next day when I sat down to eat,
my meal was on a paper plate.
For Months there was no changes,
that was the way that I ate.

Well that's when I put my foot down,
yea now on the floor is where I eat.
Still setting on the Kitchen floor today,
lucky I'm not eating with my feet.

Be no argument she'll get from me,
I really like the food I'm gett'in.
I also know that if I put up a fuss,
in a restaurant I'll be sitt'un.

Yesterday, was talk of new dishes,
I agreed that would be fine.
And maybe in a month are so,
at the table again I'll dine.
