Camping Trip with God
Was about twenty years ago, In Colorado
I was camped on a mountain top,
about one hundred yards from the ledge,
must have been at least a thousand feet to the bottom,
where a large stream ran below.
It was here, I walked over and sat down on the edge
It was getting day-light. I was up alone at the time.
I sat there and enjoyed the Beautiful view and talked
with God, while I prayed, I watched deer and the elk herd's.
As they came strolling down thru the trees,
for their morning walk and drink. That was a site to see.
I talked and prayed to God, for over an hour,
I felt as though I had spent the morning with Jesus.
Believe me this made for me a wonderful day with God.
One I have kept in my mind and still ponder in my heart.
I have told about this many times, in church.
Well I have had many days in my life, that made me feel
as if Jesus was sitting right there with me.
This was a moment all should enjoy and if you feel I'm wrong,
then go to God in prayer and ask him.
Just remember God Is every where.
God has said that where two or more are
gathered together in my His name,
There He will be also.
