Babe we met on a late August. evening,
Febuary took our wedding vows.
Loved you from the moment I met you,
fifty five years:love even more now.
So why worry
Now having wrinkles on your face,
maybe your hair a snowy white.
But Smiles that form upon your face,
those eyes that shine so bright.
Why worry
No way you can say, I'm the same
curly hair has come and gone,
Still have my Blue eyes my love,
can't see, but take what comes along.
So why worry
People remark:look at them old folks,
arm in arm as down the street we trod.
But ours is a special Love Sweetheart,
a beautiful gift given us by God.
So why worry
So lets turn and give them all a smile,
hold hands and walk with pride.
Gods happy and walks with us Babe,
Knowiing of our Love inside.
