~It Is Now Time~
Getting late as Jesus reached Gethsemane,
asking His Disciiples to stand guard.
Knowing the Soldiers would be there soon,
needing to Pray to his Father, Our Lord.
Judas handed them our Jesus with a kiss,
Chaining Him, dragged Him off to Jerusalem.
He was beaten, cursed, and spat upon by them,
what a terrible disgrace it must have been.
A Crown of thorns placed on his head,
Pilate then gave Him up to Die,
beaten,They threw a Cross upon his back.
He was then made to walk the road to Calvery,
When it was over, our sins will no more be intact.
The weight of the cross was sometimes
more then He could handle,
Many times falling upon His knees in pain.
There came a man to help carry
the Cross from out of the crowd,
a man with tears in his eyes,
Simon of Cyrenian.
After being nailed to the Cross to die for our sins,
His blood began ozzing from His hands and feet.
Then looking up to Heaven to His Father, It is over.
And smiling His stricken body gave up to defeat.
Mary, His Mother, Mary Magdelene and James knelt near,
Then Joseph Arimathea came to take His body down.
Friends knowing that He was there to bury Jesus in a tomb,
with all Jesus followers sobbing hurried off to Town.
After three long Days of fighting the Devil, He arose,
which meant His Job on Earth was through.
All that's left is to believe and love Him to be saved,
This is a job not so hard to do,
But it's all up to you.
(Please don't let His suffering be in Vain)
